Uncle Joe Benson with Steve Miller, 5/17/03.   Saturday May 17, 2003: J.B. hosted the 2nd Annual Legends Ball Rock Dinner Gala at the Fender Museum in Corona. The event featured the first performance by the most legendary Steve Miller Band line-up in almost 20 years: drummer Gary Mallaber, bassist Gerald Johnson, harmonica god Norton Buffalo and keyboardist Nolan Gasser, with special guest Kenny Lewis on guitar. All the proceeds from annual fundraising event benefited the Fender Museum's Kids Rock Free® Program, which has provided over 5,000 children with free and low cost performing arts education.
