Uncle Joe Benson's driving and Meet & Greet sessions @ 2000 Ford L.A. Street Race
July 14, 2000: Uncle Joe did some laps at speed in Arnie Ruiz's 380 horsepower ProTruck Chevy around the L.A. Sports Arena and Coliseum as part of the Ford L.A. Street Race. The next day he and old Saugus/Irwindale Speedway announcing buddy Virgil Kilpatrick teamed up to call the action as 28 Spec Trucks qualified for Sunday's race. After that, Joe joined the ARROW 93 crew for a Meet & Greet session -- and a good time was had by all!

Uncle Joe takes the ProTruck for a drive.
First Joe gets comfortable, then owner Arnie Ruiz
(with truck designer Jon Nelson in background)
celebrates "No damage!"
Then J.B. realized Arnie always smiles because
the truck is a babe magnet
(something ProTruck PR Director Barbara Thompson
knew about Arnie all along)!
Saturday's Meet & Greet.
So how much do you guys REALLY REALLY like Sioux-z Jessup??
