Uncle Joe Benson at Lobster Festival, 10/5/01.   October 5, 2001: Several thousand friends joined J.B. at the world famous Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival in San Pedro. While Joe just missed The Greater San Pedro Lobster Calling Contest, he did check out the Lobster-tinis and Lobster Slalom in the exclusive Lobster Parking Lot. Besides Unc's appearance, this year's festival included a "fair-style midway section," musical guests and over 32,000 lobsters that just barely passed through flight security checks for their flight from Maine.
