Uncle Joe Benson - Steve Miller at Kids Rock Free benefit.

September 17, 2010: Steve Miller performed another of his exclusive concerts at the Fender Center in Corona to benefit the Kids Rock Free music education program. Following the pre-show VIP gala, Uncle Joe joined KLOS' Cynthia Fox to auction a special Fender Stratocaster, raising another $6,000 for the kids! Just before Steve and his band (which included a few of the Kids Rock Free graduates) finished their two-hour show, J.B. introduced his old friend (and former Corona mayor) Jeff Bennett, who surprised Steve by naming the facility after him. Quite a night — and a lot of money was raised to help educate kids!
