April 13 - 15, 2007: Just like every April since 1986, Uncle Joe Benson was once again part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. His Friday and Saturday broadcasts featured an array of guests including 4-time Grand Prix winner Paul Tracy, 3-time Grand Prix winner Sébastien Bourdais and Champ Car rookie phenom Graham Rahal. Joe also did huge Meet & Greet sessions all three days at the KLOS Cool Patrol booth where the Uncle Joe's Nissan 300ZX race car was on display. Rock & Roll!

With the Uncle Joe's Nissan 300ZX on display throughout the weekend, the
KLOS Cool Patrol became a beehive of activity as soon as the gates opened!

Friday afternoon's broadcast included visits with
Grand Prix announcers Bruce Flanders and Terry "Ike" Clanton and
Miss Toyota Grand Prix Of Long Beach Lauren McDonald,
as well as some play-by-play from the back straight.

KABC Channel 7 weatherman (and former KLOS
afternoon jock) Garth Kemp stopped by to
share a laugh about the business.

Saturday morning's broadcast saw former AC/DC and Manfred Mann's
Earth Band drummer Chris Slade join Unc on the air.

Old friends Scott Atherton (CEO of the American
LeMans Series and former California Speedway President)
and Off Road racing legend Ivan "Ironman" Stewart dropped by.

A hot spot for photos and dreaming.

J.B.'s fellow CalClub racers Alan Ward and Joe Hall came cruising by
just as jet ski racer Tom Clarke produced his vintage
Uncle Joe's Record Guide.
