An Uncle Joe Meet & Greet in the midst of the 57th Annual Grand National Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona. The show is an annual hot rodding extravaganza featuring over 700 of the country's most spectacular, innovative and radical street rods, classic customs and monster motorcycles — Hot Rodding's Super Bowl! (Photos by Jim Sleeper & Joe Benson.)   Tasty pin striping everywhere.    Incredible rods around every corner.  "I don't know what it is, but it's cool!"  
Over 400 cars in five halls and more than 300 outside in a campus-like setting     Meeting folks and sharing stories.    A couple of head turners and a mighty fine Mercury.   A full-on original "Duece Coupe" and truly sweet flames.  Incredible detail in a "basic" interior.  Outrageous flames everywhere you look.  The judges have to really get into it.  At nine feet tall, truly the 'Big Trophy'!
