Uncle Joe Benson at the 5th Good Guys Hot Rod Happenin'. July 29, 2000: The Good Guys 5th West Coast Hot Rod Happenin' at the Fairplex in Pomona. The debut of J.B.'s rarely-seen custom 1991 Mustang caught the attention of several race fans (and some police officers). After a Meet & Greet session, J.B. was joined by his California Speedway co-announcer, Shawn Parr, in the Good Guys announcer's booth. Shawn took more than a little verbal abuse in the booth, as no one was sure which was brighter: the Pomona sun or his SuperCuts highlights. As you can see, a great time was had by all!
