February 12 - 13, 2005: Even though the first big NHRA drag meet of the year was met with torrential downpours, defending NHRA Division 7 Super Gas Champion Randy Balough, driver of the Uncle Joe's Racing Super Gas Corvette, came within 2/100 of a second of winning the NHRA CARQUEST Winternationals Drag Races! Of course there were Uncle Joe Meet & Greet sessions on a rainy Saturday and sunny Sunday at the ARROW 93 booth, as well as several hundred other people racing at the at the Fairplex in Pomona.
