February 10 - 11, 2007: It wasn't quite as wet as the legendary 2004 NHRA WinterNationals, but the 2007 NHRA CARQUEST Winternationals Drag Races at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona did see some serious moisture! Through it all, J.B. was rocking with the KLOS Cool Patrol and NHRA Division 7 Super Gas Champion Randy Balough, driver of the Uncle Joe's Racing Super Gas Corvette. And yes, there was another Harley giveaway between the showers on Sunday! Rock & Roll!

Earlier in the week, J.B. interviewed
14-time Champion John Force,
4-time Champion Tony Schumaker
and 6-time Champion Kenny Bernstein
for his KLOS afternoon airshift.

Then — in between the rain showers —
it was time for the 2007 NHRA CARQUEST Winternationals!

Saturday morning greetings!

fresh from two victories at the California Speedway.

Lots of pictures were taken.

Sunday morning, Randy joined Unc
for a lengthy Meet & Greet.

After pulling the Uncle Joe's Racing Super Gas Corvette
up to the staging lanes, Randy and Travis were ready to race.

Between Sunday afternoon rain showers, a beautiful Harley Davidson
will go to one of five nervous contestants:
Charlie, Fernando, Bill, Nicole or Matthew.

The first key is drawn — and Charlie wins!!

Of course in his spare time, Unc rides a Harley too!
