August 13, 2000: Randy Balough, owner of the Uncle Joe's Racing 1957 Corvette did some laps at the Pro Gas Race at L.A. County Raceway. As the Sunday afternoon qualifying brought him again within .003 of a second for another bracket advancement, Randy was pitted against longtime veteran drag racer (and friend of the family) Jim 'Izzy' Israel.
