Uncle Joe Benson at the 2003 AMA Superbikes California Speedway Race. April 5-6, 2003: Once again, Uncle Joe was joined by AMA announcer John Fosgate at the Yamaha AMA Superbike Challenge at the California Speedway in Fontana. The weekend featured Rounds Two and Three of the AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited schedule. On Sunday alone, an estimated 25,000 motorcycle fans enjoyed another beautiful race day in Fontana! True enough, J.B. was last seen mumbling something about umbrella girls.
